Bologna forward Simone Verdi has reportedly signed a five-year Napoli contract, and he’ll live in Gonzalo Higuain’s old house.
The Italian international was close to joining the Partenopei in January, but ultimately decided to stay and help the Rossoblu in their battle for survival.
This week though it has been confirmed that, barring any last-minute shocks, he’ll continue his career at the San Paolo.
According to the Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Verdi will sign a lengthy five year contract, with an option for a sixth.

The newspaper also reports that the player and his girlfriend, Laura Della Villa, will move into Gonzalo Higuain’s former home.
Verdi will live in the Vomero area of the city, an area where several of the players live, in a house which belonged to Pipita and then Emanuele Giaccherini.
