Milan could offer Gianluigi Donnarumma in a straight swap deal with Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, claim Sport Mediaset.

The Rossoneri have never disguised their interest in former Juventus and Real Madrid hitman Morata, but as Chelsea paid €66m for the Spaniard only a year ago, his price-tag is beyond reach.

He struggled to settle in the Premier League, scoring 15 goals with six assists in 48 competitive games, and flies back to Italy whenever he can on vacation.

According to Mediaset, Milan could get around Financial Fair Play problems by enacting a straight swap with Donnarumma.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper came up through their youth academy, so any sale counts as pure profit.

His future has been in the balance ever since a deal was struck to sign veteran Pepe Reina as a free agent after the Napoli contract ran down.

Current Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is also looking elsewhere, with Real Madrid reportedly seeing their initial €35m offer rejected.
