Kim Jong Un is a passionate Inter supporter and politician Antonio Razzi avoided discussing Juventus in the interests of “world peace.”
The bizarre revelation came from former Senator Razzi’s interview with Tuttosport, in which he gave anecdotes from his time in Silvio Berlusconi’s Italian government.
“It all started in 2011, the year Kim took over from his father Kim Yong Il as Supreme Leader of North Korea. You know that as a young man he had studied in Bern and would go to San Siro to watch Inter and Milan?
“He really likes Italian football and appreciates our technical capabilities. He supports Inter. I am very much a Juve fan. We never talked about it because there is too much rivalry between Inter and Juventus, so I didn’t want to create any reason for attrition. There was world peace at stake here, after all!
“I thought to myself: ‘Anto, don’t talk about Juve to an Interista, otherwise he’ll shoot you!’”
