Roma are in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for both Javier Pastore and Napoli transfer target Alphonse Areola.
According to Calciomercato.it and Il Messaggero, PSG directors were spotted in Rome over the weekend.
The Giallorossi are intensifying their interest in creative midfielder Pastore, who is expected to leave Paris by June 30 to raise funds and match Financial Fair Play parameters.
His price-tag is believed to be around €15-20m, as his contract is due to expire in June 2019.
However, Pastore isn’t the only name being discussed, as Roma are also said to be interested in goalkeeper Areola.
With reports increasing that Real Madrid will eventually match the asking price for Alisson Becker, the Olimpico side need to find a suitable replacement.
Napoli are in a similar situation and have narrowed their search down to just two names: Areola and Udinese’s Alex Meret.
Curiously, Meret is also an option for Roma.
