Fassone was speaking to Sky Sport Italia after Milan’s meeting with UEFA’s Adjudicatory Chamber on Tuesday, with the Rossoneri’s participation in the Europa League at risk.

“What we ask is that the club are assessed in line with decisions made in other FFP cases,” explained the CEO.

“We haven’t been told when the verdict will arrive. I don’t want to go make any judgments yet.

“We’ll leave it to the Adjudicatory Chamber, which is composed of some high-profile elements. We’ll comment on it at a later date.

“If we think the verdict penalises us too much then the path to CAS in Lausanne is surely one we’ll follow.

“New investor? I can‘t say anything, these are issues that concern the shareholder [Li Yonghong], as are so many of those discussed today.

“We have gone for a stance made up of certain facts and not assumptions. We hope the facts are evaluated and not the conjecture.

“Transfers? Mirabelli is working, he’s not waiting for the verdict, which can change our budget in the worst case scenario.

“There’s a plan A and plan B based on what the verdict will be.”
