Real Madrid have officially confirmed the signing of Napoli target Andriy Lunin, who signs a six-year contract.



The Partenopei were keen to sign the Ukrainian goalkeeper, whose father described the transfer as “a dream.

However, the 19-year-old has this evening officially joined the Champions League winners.

“Real Madrid C. F. and FC Zorya Luhansk have reached an agreement for the transfer of Andriy Lunin, who joins the club on a six-year deal,” Los Merengues said in a statement.

Lunin is the latest goalkeeper Napoli have missed out on, with Mattia Perin joining Juventus, Rui Patricio signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bernd Leno moving to Arsenal.
