Manchester City have reportedly denied that Jorginho has chosen Chelsea, and are convinced the Napoli midfielder wants to join them.
There has been an agreement in place with the Italian international for several weeks, and his agent has been in England ready to sign the deal with City.
In recent days though the Blues have hijacked the move, and Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis made it clear today that Jorginho will move to Stamford Bridge.

“I’ll have to apologise to Manchester City,” De Laurentiis said earlier today.
“ However, if the player would rather live in London than Manchester, I can understand that. If Chelsea are paying him even more, I can understand that too.
“Jorginho would go to Chelsea regardless of [Coach Maurizio] Sarri.”
Despite that, the Manchester Evening News quotes sources close to City as denying that Jorginho has chosen Chelsea.
The Citizens still believe that the midfielder wants to join them and play under Pep Guardiola, and he hasn’t told them otherwise.
In addition, the sources tell the MEN, Jorginho hasn’t had contact with Chelsea.
That would entirely contradict what De Laurentiis said just this morning, and Jorginho has been spotted boarding a plane to London.
