Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea staff will include Gianfranco Zola and Luca Gotti, according to Italian reports.
The tactician was finally appointed this morning on a three-year contract after Napoli freed him from his commitments.
Originally, the plan had been to bring Giovanni Martusciello to Stamford Bridge, as he already worked with the assistant manager at Empoli.
However, Martusciello is currently with Luciano Spalletti at Inter and seems to be staying.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Luca Gotti will have the role of assistant to Sarri, having most recently worked with Roberto Donadoni at Bologna.
Chelsea icon Zola will also be part of the staff, confirmed his agent, though it’s not entirely clear yet in what role.
