Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has reportedly axed two of Antonio Conte’s rules, which his players deemed ‘unpopular’.

According to The Telegraph, Sarri has relaxed rules on nutrition and scrapped Conte’s demand that the Chelsea squad stay at a West London hotel the night before a home fixture.

The newspaper explains the strict diet regime was ‘a factor’ in the former Italy CT leaving the club earlier in the summer, while the hotel regulation was ‘unwelcome’.
