Lazio team manager Angelo Peruzzi admits his club have been drawn ‘the worst group possible’ in the Europa League.

Lazio were paired with Eintracht Frankfurt, Apollon Limassol and last season’s runners-up Olympique Marseille in Group H, and Peruzzi confessed the Aquile’s pool was among the ‘most difficult’.

“It’s the worst group possible. Ours is the most difficult with that of Leipzig,” the ex-Italy goalkeeper told Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s the worst group possible. Ours is the most difficult with that of Leipzig,” the ex-Italy goalkeeper told Sky Sport Italia.

“Marseille are an excellent team, as are Eintracht: Will we rediscover our swagger? It’s not easy after two defeats.

“We’ve faced two very good teams so far, but our season must start on Sunday. No Felipe Anderson? The team are well built and we’ve signed some very good players, who can do very well.”
