Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admits Champions League opponents Juventus “want to win it this time” with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Bianconeri have been placed in the same group as Manchester United, Valencia and Swiss side Young Boys.
“They don’t hide,” said Mourinho in a Press conference.
“Juventus are always a big candidate in the European competitions but the investment they made shows they want to win it this time.

“We are going to try to win, even against that big team, even though Cristiano is still a top player.”
The Old Lady and Ronaldo will visit Old Trafford on October 23 and play United in Turin on November 7.
“I think he likes to come. My feeling when we played with Real Madrid here was that he was happy to come back and was happy to play at Old Trafford, but he was also happy to score and to win.
“He comes with a Juventus shirt, he went to Juventus to win the Champions League, he comes to Old Trafford to score goals and to win the match, but Old Trafford likes him and Old Trafford will always react in a positive way to him, which is a great thing.”
Manchester United were runners-up behind Manchester City in the Premier League last season, but had a disastrous start to the current campaign, losing to Brighton and Tottenham.
“We want to play the way we did in the first half against Tottenham. In that match we were really strong and really positive against a very good opponent and we could tell Spurs were finding it hard, but two defensive mistakes in five minutes cost us the game.
“To be really good offensively you have to be solid at the back, all the best teams are, because that is what allows you the confidence to take risks. We are willing to play in a way that carries risk, but if you make mistakes in defence it breaks the dynamic.”
