The full-back limped off just 20 minutes into this evening’s 6-0 Nations League defeat to Spain in Elche this evening.

He immediately called for a substitution, suggesting it could be a potentially serious setback.

According to Mediaset Premium, the Croatian medical staff believe Vrsaljko has strained the collateral medial ligament in his left knee.
