Jose Mourinho is determined to bring Inter striker Mauro Icardi to Manchester United, according to reports in Argentina.
The newspaper Ole claims that Mou has his sights set on Maurito for next season.
There is currently a release clause in his contract worth €110m, but it is only active for a two-week period in the summer.
Icardi is negotiating a new deal that would significantly raise the figure of that release clause.
The 25-year-old has for some time been one of Serie A’s most reliable marksmen, last season scoring 29 goals in 34 games to be joint Capocannoniere with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile.
The former Sampdoria man scored 107 goals in 184 competitive games for Inter, along with 24 assists.
