“The disappointment of our defeat to Inter has to be shaken off very quickly, because we already have another test in front of us,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“We must press the reset button and build on the positives from that performance. We played on level terms with Inter, both in our quality and approach.
“We are in the middle of a tour de force now and the mental aspect is important in these situations. This experience will help us to grow and mature. We’ve got to learn when to step up the tempo at the right moment.
“Cagliari play with a lot of intensity on their home turf, they have quality and have improved a great deal compared to last season. It’s going to be a difficult match, but my team is ready.
“You get good results by playing well, being concentrated and motivated. Every match is difficult in Serie A this season, but none are impossible. Let’s not forget Juventus struggled more than we did to beat Frosinone.”
