Arsenal have reportedly offered outgoing Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta a €3.5m salary to become their new CEO.
According to Tuttosport, Marotta is unlikely to take a sabbatical when he officially leaves Juve on October 25 and has already received a significant proposal from Arsenal.
The Gunners’ offer would come in at €500,000 more than the salary Inter reportedly prepared for the 61-year-old.

Nonetheless, the newspaper believes Marotta is closer to the Nerazzurri than North London, citing an earlier story that the Old Lady’s arch-rivals had already held talks with the supremo.
Arsenal, for their part, are looking for a new CEO after losing Ivan Gazidis to Milan.
