Chievo have officially appointed former Italy CT Giampiero Ventura as their new Coach.
Chievo tweeted on Wednesday morning that Ventura had signed a two-year contract and brought long-term assistants Salvatore Sullo and Alessandro Innocenti with him.
The 70-year-old had been out of work since failing to guide Italy to their first World Cup no-show for over half a century.
However, he was acclaimed for his work in establishing Torino as a Serie A side between 2011 and 2016, while unearthing the likes of Ciro Immobile and Matteo Darmian.
The Flying Donkeys, for their part, are bottom of Serie A after no wins from their opening eight games.
