“I can’t talk about just the players who aren’t playing. I have to make decisions for the team, I had to choose 11 players and it’s very difficult, tactically and technically,” the Coach told RMC Sport.

“The team did well against Lille and deserved to be confirmed, as we had structure and fighting spirit.”
The 3-4-3 approach was used against Lille at the weekend and is brought back at the Stadio San Paolo.
“It doesn’t matter the system, it’s all about how the players interpret it, about the mentality. We had some great matches, we had our best game against Lille in super difficult circumstances and we want to build on that.”
Tuchel was asked why he chose to start Julian Draxler in midfield.
“The qualities are clear, he has incredible passing, is one of our best players in terms of quality, holds the ball well and has the right characteristics for that position. He protects the ball, passes it well and adapts with Neymar and Marco Verratti.”
