Simone Inzaghi has warned Lazio that Olympique Marseille cannot be ‘trusted’ on Thursday, despite their run of three straight defeats.
Lazio won 3-1 the last time they faced Marseille in the Europa League, but Inzaghi made it clear his side had to be wary of the French side’s ‘devotion’ to attacking play.
“Do I trust Marseille? No,” the Coach said at a Press conference.
“We know they’re a great team and we’ll have to repeat how we played at Stade Velodrome.

“Do I trust Marseille? No,” the Coach said at a Press conference.
“We know they’re a great team and we’ll have to repeat how we played at Stade Velodrome.
“It’s the first match point for us to qualify, even if they come into the game from three straight defeats.
“I watched their last game with my assistants, but they deserved to be ahead in the first half.
“I rate Garcia highly because he’s an excellent Coach and a colleague that I met for the first time in the first leg.
“This is Lazio-Marseille. We know we’ll be facing a great team. Badelj, Leiva and Lulic won’t be in the squad, but there’s a good chance that all three will play Sassuolo on Sunday.
“The others should all be available. Berisha has a chance to play like everyone else. I’ll name my XI with great calmness, but Berisha can be an important option.
“I won’t be able to call on Lulic or Lukaku, but we have Durmisi and Caceres. Durmisi has recovered and trained well. I’ll have to choose.
“Marseille will play to win. Certainly they’re a team who are devoted to attacking and tomorrow they’ll also have Thauvin unlike in the first leg.
“My lads know what they’re going to be faced with and I’ve seen them focused.”
