Milan’s injury crisis just keeps getting worse, as Davide Calabria and Alessio Romagnoli pulled out of their respective Italy squads.

The Under-21 side lost 2-1 to England and have another friendly against Germany coming up on Monday evening.

Calabria won’t take part, as the Rossoneri full-back is still struggling with an ankle injury and has been sent home early.

Instead, Coach Gigi Di Biagio called in 22-year-old SPAL full-back Lorenzo Dickmann.

Milan have a huge injury list at the moment, as Romagnoli was also forced to leave the senior Italy camp ahead of tonight’s Nations League match with Portugal.

He was replaced by Lazio centre-back Francesco Acerbi.

Lucas Biglia, Giacomo Bonaventura, Mateo Musacchio and Mattia Caldara are all out for at least two months each.
