Sassuolo’s President has warned Milan that ‘we don’t need to sell’ Italy midfielder Stefano Sensi.
Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Milan were targeting Sensi less than a day after he debuted for Italy during their 1-0 win against USA, but Sassuolo are known to have played hardball over the likes of Matteo Politano and Domenico Berardi.
“I was very pleased with his debut. It’s a source of pride for Sassuolo,” Giorgio Squinzi told Calciomercato.com.
“I don’t think the links with Milan are that topical. We don’t need to sell.
“[CEO] Giovanni Carnevali deals with these things. I don’t want to add anything else.”
