Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo has become the most prolific Portuguese goalscorer in a single Serie A season after netting for the 13th time.

Ronaldo took just 153 seconds to break the deadlock for Juve against Sampdoria, moving him on to 13 Serie A goals for the 2018-19 campaign.

That saw him surpass Rui Barros, who had been the top-scoring Portuguese player in a single season with 12 strikes for the Bianconeri in 88-89.
