Reports in France claim Roma are trying to sign Lille midfielder Thiago Maia on loan with option to buy for a total €10m.
The 21-year-old Brazilian joined LOSC from Santos in the summer of 2017 for €14m.
According to La Voix du Nord, Giallorossi director of sport Monchi has proposed a loan with option to buy at the end of the season for a total sum of €10m.
The two clubs have done business in the past for teenage defender William Bianda.
Thiago Maia had already been linked with a move to Italy last year for Milan.
