Mauro Icardi has insisted that ‘my renewal will only take place when Inter make me a correct and concrete offer’.

Icardi had already hit out at Gazzetta dello Sport for spouting ‘rubbish’ about his agent-wife Wanda Nara, before asserting she would remain in charge of his interests ‘until the end of my career’.

He then wrote on his Instagram story: “I want to clarify to all the fans who read work written by pseudo-journalists in ‘serious’ newspapers, which write or give instructions to write without knowing or having a real idea of the facts, that my renewal will only take place when Inter make me a correct and concrete offer.

“Only after that can we talk about my renewal with truth, while putting to one side the lies that have been spread.”

His brother Guido, on the other hand, could not resist a dig at Nara, suggesting she was a ‘parasite’.

“Of course, he turns over €20,000 a week to me …” replied the tattoo artist to a question about whether Mauro helped him financially.

When asked about his relationship with Mauro, he responded: “I never said that it was all bad with him, just that there are too many parasites attached to his wallet, but he’s an example for me and I love him generally speaking.”

So what does he think about his sibling’s wife?

“Obviously…” he wrote, followed by a vomiting emoji.
