Paris Saint-Germain Coach Thomas Tuchel warns it is likely Marco Verratti has “suffered a serious injury” to his ankle.
The Italy international limped off during today’s 9-0 Ligue 1 victory over Guingamp.
He landed awkwardly and an opponent accidentally trod on his ankle, so it turned in an unnatural manner.
“It’s not good news. I think he’s suffered a serious injury,” Tuchel told Canal+.
“It’s the worst thing that could’ve happened for us…”

If Verratti is to be ruled out for several weeks, if not months, then PSG could be forced to bring Adrien Rabiot back into the fold, despite his contract rebel status.
Tuchel has already been begging for midfielders, which prompted a massive offer for Napoli star Allan.
