Barcelona have officially announced a deal to sign Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong for up to €86m in June, a former Juventus and PSG target.
The 21-year-old Dutch international is already a sensation and tipped to become a superstar in future.
This prompted a bidding war with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
It had been whittled down to the French and Catalan club, but this evening Barcelona confirmed the contract had been signed.
The cost of the operation is €75m plus up to €11m in various performance-related bonuses.
