Nicolo Zaniolo says he is focused on not letting his bright start at Roma get to his head. “I have to keep my feet on the ground.”
Zaniolo has enjoyed arguably the biggest breakthrough in Italian football this season, scoring five goals in 23 appearances for Roma to fill the void left by Radja Nainggolan and already being called up by CT Roberto Mancini.
“I hope to be a good representative of this generation and I hope to keep going like this,” the 19-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.
“I have to keep my feet on the ground. Everyone expects so much of you at this level, but talent isn’t everything. A good head and hard work are also needed.
“Italy? Mancini’s started on the right track.”
