“I hope Milan become great again thanks to me,” he told Przeglad Sportowy.

“Paqueta? He knows where I want the ball and has great technical ability. I left Poland once I was ready physically, mentally and technically.

“I could’ve left sooner, but I preferred to stay an extra year and I absolutely don’t regret it.

“Lewandowski and Milik? I have no problem working with them, we’re different types of forwards but we’re all in form.

“If I had all the qualities the newspapers say I have then I’d be the best player in history, but I hope I’ll be truly worthy of their comparisons one day.

“In my opinion, some of the front pages are exaggerated. I’ll only take some of the praise. I’m satisfied with the goals I’ve scored, not the front pages.

“A good group has been put together at Milan. I’m closest with those I eat with, namely Calhanoglu, Bakayoko, Paqueta, Kessie, Rodriguez and Borini. We’ve built a real team.”
