Kevin Mirallas and German Pezzella are still out injured, but Vincent Laurini should be back in the starting XI.

The decision causing the most confusion is in attack, where Stefano Pioli is expected to use Giovanni Simeone flanked by Gerson and Federico Chiesa.

This would leave January signing Luis Muriel on the bench, although there is always the all-attack option of using Simeone, Muriel and Chiesa together.

Inter are missing Mauro Icardi and Keita Balde Diao, so Lautaro Martinez is the only option as a centre-forward.

Matteo Politano, Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic should be in support, with Joao Mario rumoured to be stepping in to midfield with ex-Fiorentina star Matias Vecino, allowing Marcelo Brozovic to rest.

Probable line-ups

Fiorentina: Lafont; Ceccherini, Milenkovic, Victor Hugo, Biraghi; Benassi Edmilson, Veretout; Gerson, Simeone: Chiesa

Inter: Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Lautaro Martinez
