That was followed by an even stranger tweet by Maurizio Sarri’s club, which asked supporters who they ‘wanted’ the club to sign in the summer.
Unsurprisingly, Twitter users were quick to remind them that FIFA had banned them from registering new players for the next two transfer windows less than a week ago.
