Footage has emerged of Atalanta Coach Gian Piero Gasperini shoving Sampdoria secretary general Massimo Ienca over after his dismissal.

The incident occurred after Samp had been awarded a penalty at Marassi and Gasperini was sent off for dissent.

He stormed off down the tunnel and there was an altercation with Ienca.

“He was somewhere he shouldn't have been, he obstructed the exit, so I slightly nudged him aside and then he made a big song and dance about it. He does that sometimes,” Gasp told Sky Sport Italia.

There were reports of a slap, while Ienca received treatment from the medical team at the touchline, going to hospital for tests on his hand after an awkward fall.

Footage has now emerged of the incident and Gasperini certainly seems to give Ienca a big shove, pushing him into the flexible walls of the tunnel.

Ienca appears to lose his balance and fall after the sudden push, while Gasp does not turn back to see what happened afterwards.

The Atalanta Coach could face a ban after this incident and the Disciplinary Commission will evaluate it.
