“After that I joined Piacenza, where I was happy like a child, while in Cagliari I created my family and at Roma I felt fantastic.

“I have only good memories of my time there. There was a family at Cagliari, we played for a whole island.

“Every match was a battle. I became a man in Sardinia. it was an important challenge for me because I had to immediately put myself on show in Serie A.

“It was a tough test, but it went well. I didn’t expect to become a player I am today. My best memory is my first goal in Serie A, which came two weeks after the death of my mother, to whom I owe everything.

“The only pity is that she didn’t see me debut in Serie A, but I still owe everything to her.”
