Inter have confirmed that Stefan de Vrij will miss their next Serie A game against Lazio with a thigh injury.
A medical report on Inter’s official website read De Vrij pulled up in training with Netherlands and that tests showed ‘a problem in his right thigh’.
The defender played the entirety of his country’s 4-0 win against Belarus last week but was absent for the 3-2 defeat to Germany.
The 27-year-old will now have to undergo a ‘personalised training programme’ and will be reassessed ‘early next week’.
