Domenico Di Carlo has instructed his Chievo players to battle like ‘tough guys’ when they face Cagliari in Serie A on Friday.
Chievo go into the final nine games of the season 14 points adrift at the bottom of the table and with no win since December 28, but Di Carlo is not giving up yet.
“All the points you pick up now are crucial,” the Coach said at a Press conference.
“We must be strong from within so we can face the final flurry of the season in the best way.

“It’ll be tough against Cagliari, a strong team led by a good Coach, who force your team to play well.
“We’ll some of our exes, but you don’t look at anyone on the field. Everyone is fighting for their own objective.
“I’m convinced that we’ll have an excellent game. The players will fight, like real tough guys.”
