Milan reportedly want Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino to be their next Coach.
According to Corriere della Sera, keeping Gennaro Gattuso will only be ‘considered’ if Milan qualify for the Champions League.
Despite his Arsenal connections, the newspaper writes CEO Ivan Gazidis has identified Pochettino as ‘the ideal candidate’.
The Argentine has been at Tottenham since 2014, turning them into Premier League contenders.
Although the Rossoneri would only have a chance of getting him if they return to the Champions League, there is talk that the 47-year-old may not be the man to lead Spurs into their new stadium.
Tuttosport, meanwhile, claims Elliott Management has instructed Gattuso and technical director Leonardo to clear the air after a difference of opinion following the derby defeat to Inter.
