Lorenzo Insigne admits his future at Napoli is anything but secure. “I am 28 years old and it could happen that I receive an offer I can’t refuse.”
The homegrown talent took over the captaincy after Marek Hamsik’s January move to China, but interest from the likes of Liverpool and PSG seem to have had an effect.
“I am 28 years old and it could happen that I receive an offer I can’t refuse,” Insigne told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.
“I’ve proved what I am worth and there are people around who appreciate me.”
Juventus could secure their eighth consecutive Scudetto this weekend if they beat Milan and Napoli lose to Genoa.
“It does irritate me to come so close to success and then not win anything.”
Napoli are in the Europa League quarter-finals with Arsenal and considered one of the favourites to lift the trophy.
There have been rumours of Insigne’s imminent exit ever since he hired Mino Raiola as his agent, the same representative who works with Mario Balotelli, Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Moise Kean.
