Ivan Perisic believes Inter have what it takes to win the Derby d’Italia against Juventus this weekend. “We can beat anyone.”
Inter dropped points against Roma on Saturday and will face a Juve side who have just secured their eighth straight Scudetto.
Nonetheless, Perisic told his club’s TV channel: “We’re Inter and we must try to win all our remaining games because we’re strong.
“We can beat anyone: now we’re thinking about Juve. We want to tie up third place. The important thing is to qualify for the Champions League.
“We know Juventus, they’ve won the Scudetto for the last eight years. They’re strong and they’ll come here to win, so we’ll have to be better than them.
“During the week we’ll prepare well for the clash. We have what it takes to beat them, although we need to improve our finishing.
“We create plenty of chances but often fail to take them.”
The Nerazzurri’s last victory over the Old Lady came in September 2016, with the Croat getting on the scoresheet in a 2-1 triumph.
