The Danish centre-back had seemed destined to join Tottenham Hotspur in the summer for a fee rumoured to be somewhere around €40m, but Spanish paper AS reports that Atletico are now interested in the 22-year-old.

Anderson has put in some impressive performances in his 34 games for the Blucerchiati this season and Atleti Coach Diego Simeone could certainly use him next season, as veteran Diego Godin is joining Inter in the summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Sampdoria’s Belgian midfielder Dennis Praet for a fee somewhere around the €20m mark.

They will have some competition from an undisclosed German club report fcinternews.it.
