Serie B side Verona have officially appointed Alfredo Aglietti as their Coach until the end of the season.
Aglietti replaces former Juventus and Italy defender Fabio Grosso, who was sacked after a run of eight matches without a win.
The 48-year-old played for the Gialloblu between 1997 and 2000, scoring 22 goals in 83 appearances.
He has been tasked with qualifying Verona for the playoffs, and they sit sixth in the table with a two-point advantage, going into their final two games.
