Allegri has been accused of adopting a cautious mentality in the Champions League this season, culminating in Juve’s exit to Ajax at the quarter-final stage.

However, Ibrahimovic told reporters: “Allegri’s right: only winning counts in football.

“If you play well and don’t win, it doesn’t count for anything.”
