Fiorentina legend Gabriel Batistuta has hailed Liverpool for ‘moving’ him after they ‘transformed into lions’ against Barcelona on Tuesday.
Liverpool not only repeated Roma’s Champions League comeback against Barca last season but went one better, scoring a fourth goal to beat the Blaugrana and reach another Champions League Final.
“Liverpool’s comeback was incredible, with technical and physical differences that moved me,” tweeted Batistuta.

The Reds will face Tottenham Hotspur or Ajax, who are 1-0 up from the first leg of their semi-final, at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium on June 1.
