“I expect Torino to be determined for points, as they were built to qualify for Europe and we know what they are capable of.”

The Neroverdi were for a little while contenders for European qualification too, but fell away after Kevin-Prince Boateng was sold to Barcelona in January.

“We were never involved in the fight to avoid relegation and that is something to be proud of,” continued the Coach.

“As far as we are concerned, 10th place is like a Champions League spot for Sassuolo. I will use the team that I feel is best suited to the game and can provide me the most guarantees. I won’t just hand out appearances for the sake of it because we’re near the end of the season.

“Let’s not forget the points in May are worth just as much as in September.”
