Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Jetro Willems confirmed that Roma and Newcastle United “are interested” in signing him this summer.
The 25-year-old spoke to Dutch TV channel RTL about his prospects for next season.
“Roma and Newcastle are interested,” said Willems.
The Dutch international has two years left on his contract, but is apparently unhappy at the lack of playing time he is getting with the Bundesliga club.
He has fallen down the pecking order at the German side since the arrival Filip Kostic, and could be open to a move to the Stadio Olimpico.
The defender has 22 caps for his country and joined Eintracht from PSV Eindhoven for €5m in 2017.
