Eriksen announced his desire to leave Tottenham on Wednesday, and it was initially thought Juventus were the only Italian side who could afford him.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport claims Eriksen is a perfect fit for Inter as they look to give new boss Antonio Conte a midfielder with his characteristics.

The newspaper writes the Nerazzurri are boosted by favourites Real Madrid being preoccupied with negotiations for Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.

Juve, meanwhile, would be prioritising the appointment of a new Coach over any new signings at this point.

The newspaper explains an offer of €60-70m should be enough to convince Spurs into a sale as the Dane is about to enter the final year of his contract.

La Gazzetta’s valuation is far lower than reports in England, which claim the Londoners rate him in the region of €150m.
