Juventus will reportedly loan defender Cristian Romero back to Genoa once he completes his transfer this summer.
According to Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti, the deal to take Romero to Juve will ‘exceed €20m’.
However, Agresti notes the Bianconeri believe Sassuolo’s Merih Demiral is better prepared for first-team football.
Furthermore, Maurizio Sarri would be planning to give former Empoli protege Daniele Rugani an increased role.
With those factors in mind, the 21-year-old could return to Genoa for at least another season.
