Inter outcast Mauro Icardi has reportedly received an offer from David Beckham’s new MLS franchise Inter Miami CF.
According to Argentine news agency Telam, Beckham approached the striker to propose he join their debut Major League Soccer season in 2020.
Icardi is frozen out of the Inter squad by new Coach Antonio Conte, who does not consider him part of the plan going forward.
Months of tension created problems within the club and squad, as he was stripped of the captaincy, then refused to resume playing after treatment for an injury that the medical staff considered to be not very serious.
The fans turned on him and wife Wanda Nara, who also acts as his agent, but he seems to be turning down moves to anywhere except for Juventus.
It’s possible the idea of playing in Miami could tempt Icardi and Wanda into a move to MLS.
