Jordan Veretout’s agent confirmed “there will be a meeting on Monday” with Roma, who are now the favourites for the Fiorentina midfielder.
The Frenchman has also been targeted by Milan, but it’s reported by multiple sources that the Giallorossi overtook them with a €25m offer.
“It’s true there is concrete interest from Roma and we’ll meet on Monday to discuss it,” agent Mario Giuffredi told SiamoLaRoma.it.
“Roma are certainly a club he’d be happy to join.”
The 26-year-old moved to Fiorentina from Aston Villa at a cost of €7m in the summer of 2017, but his price-tag has at least tripled during the last two years.
Veretout scored five goals with four assists in 37 competitive games for the Viola this season.
