The 22-year-old was tipped to be the next big thing when the Giallorossi splashed out around €15m to sign him in January 2016, amidst interest from Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.
Instead, he has struggled to live up to expectations at the Olimpico and was loaned to Fiorentina last season.
