Roma will reportedly open talks with Nicolo Zaniolo’s agent on Tuesday over a new contract for the midfielder.
According to Sport Mediaset, a meeting has been scheduled today between Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi and Zaniolo’s representative Claudio Vigorelli.
The broadcaster explains the club and player are both happy to continue together and that an agreement should be found at €2m plus bonuses.

The 20-year-old is currently celebrating his birthday in Greece but will begin preseason training with the Lupi in the coming days.
It comes after a report in The Daily Mail claimed Tottenham Hotspur were ready to sell defender Tony Alderweireld to Roma with the intention of funding a deal for Zaniolo.
