Maurizio Sarri held his first Juventus training session today and there were already very clear differences from Max Allegri’s approach.
The former Napoli and Chelsea boss is known for his possession football and quick passing game, and it is that transformation in philosophy that Juve said they were looking for in hiring him.
Fans noticed that in the clip released by the Juventus Twitter account, Sarri and his staff were telling the players to pass the ball faster, take fewer touches and move it around between them.
Considering this is the first training session, when Italian teams traditionally focus only on fitness work, it’s a sign of what is to come.
