Stefano Sensi scored a sensational goal on his Inter debut and assured they are “aiming as high as possible. We’re on the right track.”
The former Sassuolo midfielder smashed a long-range strike into the far top corner during Sunday’s 2-1 friendly victory over Lugano, the first pre-season outing for Antonio Conte’s side.
“I am very happy and it’s important to start strong,” Sensi told Sportitalia.
“We’re happy with the performance, which wasn’t easy after a hard work of training. There is enthusiasm, we are on the right track and want to continue like this.
“Our plan is to provide positive and attacking football, which I think is already visible. We are an ambitious team and are aiming as high as possible.”
